Aaron Robert week 1!!!

We welcomed Aaron Robert Garner into the world on September 14th 2010 at 10:36am. After a quick 6 1/2 hours of labor Aaron's 9 lb 14 oz, 21 1/2 inch little self was pushed into the Garner family!!! We are truely blessed to have our newest addititon, he is a beautiful miracle!

Big sister Anna is Aaron's biggest fan and loves to hold and cuddle him as much as possible!
All three kids love to hand out together on the porch!

Mommy in her most popular nursing position, she and Aaron spend lots of time like this!!!

Daddy is more than excited to have another boy in the family. Right now he loves to nap with his beautiful new boy but is looking forward to the rough housing to come!

Mommy and Daddy are just overjoyed with the newest addition to their family!

Just Cute Pics!

We recently had put the kids in seperate bedrooms as we prepared for the arrival of Baby Aaron, but this did not seem to matter, they prefer to sleep together! So each night we read Anna her book and say her prayers in her room and then she walks to Gabe's room and joins him for the night!
We took a last minute trip to NJ this summer and the kids just loved their visits with AUntie Michelle, and Uncle Mo and the Aiosa family, and Auntie Kori! Here is Gabe playing at the park by Auntie Kori's house and just loving it!

Anna is practiced and ready to be a BIG helper to mommy with Baby Aaron! Here she is practicing her baby wearing skills!

Honduras 2010

We were so blessed this summer that God opened the door for us to return to Honduras for the first time since we had lived there in 05-06! We were overjoyed to finally be able to visit the people, ministry, and places of Honduras that had become so close to our hearts during the short year that we had lived there.

Though this was a practical and financial challege, God opened every door for our return for two weeks. We were blessed to bring with us three teenagers from our home area and meet a fourth teen there from our home church in NJ! These teens were an awesome blessing in helping to care for the kids and take care of the day to day goings on since I was 7 months pregnant!

All the teens, our kids, and ourselves were so blessed to join into the fellowship with each other, with the missionary community, and ministry community during our two weeks there! We got to stay in our casita with the Rumbaugh family, our dear friends that we served with and lived with during our 1 year stay there! They are precious people that the Lord has used mightily in our lives and it was so, so sweet to be able to spend some time with them!

This is our gang on our last day in Honduras. Drew (from NJ) is pushing Anna in the stroller, then me, then Katrina (from our home church in NC), then Josh (from our MCA community in NC), then Bob holding Gabriel, then Becca (from our home church in NC).

Bob and I got to spend our 8th anniversary in Honduras, which was so awesome since Honduras is where we went for our Honeymoon! We took a motorcycle ride to a great little local retaurant on the second floor of a chompa by the beach, it was gorgeous!

Anna loved the beaches of Honduras, especially collecting sand dollars by the handful from the water!

Gabriel got a major hair chop right before we left! Good thing because it was HOT! As you can see he was all smiles out in the Honduras nature!

Daddy's pedicures!

Absolutly nothing is better than getting a pedicure from Daddy!

Daddy blows on them to try to keep them from getting smudged.
Anna is laughing because she says it tickles?

Gabe's Haircut

It would seem that a haircut does not need to be blogged. But giving a haircut to our son should be an olympic sport. Despite all of the wonderful strides Gabe has made this past year, haircuts remain more sensory sensitive than he can bear.
Here is Daddy pinning him down, and trying to hold down one strong little boy!

Here is Daddy sprinting around the chair trying to get a jump on this quick little fellow!

Ahh success at last, just hold and let him scream!

And after an hour of hard work, Gabriel can see again!

Homeschooling Preschoolers!

I am blessed to have two wonderful kids who love to do their schoolwork! We even managed to share our markers on this day!
Anna is working hard on learning the sounds each of the letters make! We are currently on the letter "G" for Gabey and Grammie!

Gabriel is working on recognizing his numbers from 1-10!

Mommy just loves days where we get lots accomplished peacefully!

Painting, Painting!

We love to paint! Thanks to Gramie's great monogramed aprons our clothes stay a little bit cleaner, but thats about it! Everything else gets painted!
Anna uses multiple types of paints and glitter glues to make her masterpeice.

Gabe is really into this one, I wonder what he's thinking?
Plenty of paintbrushes to go around!

Painting got a little too messy for Gabe so we moved onto markers!
